Competition Team
The Comp Team is a year-round training program that focuses on building strength and endurance as well as developing technique. Skiers will train 5-6 days a week. Workouts will include running, classic and skate roller skiing, strength training, biathlon, biking, agility, speed, and technique. The spring and summer training is essential to building fitness, strength and endurance. During the fall the focus shifts to building max vo2 and power. During the winter season the Comp Team members compete in local and regional races with the possibility of national and international racing. Primary races for the team are the 3 sets of IMD Junior National Qualifiers. The team will also have 2-3 dryland or on-snow training camps.
