Race Details/Schedule:
Our goal with this event is to get as many of our Western Half of the USA Biathletes together to go head to head in a shorter and faster effort as it is still only June. We want to accommodate as many racers as we can. To do this we will have awards for the open/elite category (racing on World Cup level trails), masters (racing on flat terrain), and novice (racing on flat terrain). Athletes in the elite/open categories must carry their rifles, other categories may use their own discretion. Rifle racks will be available upon entering and exiting the range for those not carrying. We have a number of shooting blocks for novice athletes and depending on the athletes level and age they can shoot prone on standing targets or prone targets. We will base these decisions off of USBA's official recommendations.
Please park in our new lower paved lots and walk around the shop to access the roller loop. Bathrooms will be available on the north side of the new building. Do not explore around in our new building, please only use the bathrooms as it is still an active construction site on the upper floors.
Bib pick-up will be on the west side of the CMB in the race office or in a soldier hollow tent just out side of the race office. There will not be equipment/rifle check.
We will not be on matched roller skis for this event but do ask racers to use roller skis that closely match a mid speed Marwe or Swenor wheel.
Timing will be done by Muddy Dog Sports.
