Devo Team and Devo Plus
The Soldier Hollow Devo Team is for youth ages 10-13 who have ski experience and an interest in racing. In the winter, the Devo Team works on improving technique, balance, strength and endurance through drills, games, and other fun activities on skis! Devo Team members are strongly encouraged but not required to participate in races. Devo summer training is a fun way to stay active during the off season! Activities include: intro to rollerskiing, agility, games, relays, running, hiking and more.
The Soldier Hollow Devo Plus Team is for youth ages 12-13 who have at least 2 yrs of race experience or by coach invitation. Winter practices are more ski specific and include a variety of games, drills, speeds, intervals, distance sessions and technique workouts. Athletes will train with the Comp team 1-2 times per week.

Devo: Skiers born in 2006 through 2003 Devo Plus: Skiers born in 2003 and 2004 with devo team/race experience When: DEVO DEVO PLUS September 19 - Mid March September 19 - Mid March Mondays 3:15-5:00 Mondays 3:15-5:00 Wednesdays 4:00-5:00 Wednesdays 3:15-5:00 Thursdays 4:00-5:00 (optional) Thursdays 3:15-5:00 Fall/Winter Program Cost: DEVO DEVO PLUS Mon/Wed only : $300* Mon/Wed/Thu : $375* Mon/Wed/Thu : $350* * Volunteer Discount: $100 discount if parent & athlete commit to volunteering for 10 hours at Soldier Hollow Events. Volunteer hours must be completed by Labor Day Weekend 2017 to be eligible for next fall/winter discount. * Charter School students may get a discount code from the school after they have paid their Charter School Ski Donation. This code will give C.S. skiers a $50 discount. Volunteer Opportunities: Soup and SoHo Set Up 2016, Junior Worlds, Parking 2016. Sign up emails will be sent out prior to each event. Cost Includes: Use of ski boots, poles, rollerskis, coaching, and wax for races and classic training days, support at Devo Team races, and Soldier Hollow season pass. Not Included: Waxable Classic Skis, Uniform, Bike Helmet, Races, and Trips. |
