The Comp Team finished up a big month of training with a solstice hike up Mill Peak. The trip was a total of 4.5 hours, almost 4000ft of climbing and 8.8 miles. Thanks to Ken McCarthy for showing us the way!!! Everyone was good and tired by the end!
Last week's Devo Camp was a blast! Activities included: running, mountain biking, scavenger hunt, games, trampoline, bouldering, ropes course, rollerskiing, biathlon, swimming, and hiking! I think everyone was tuckered out by the end of the week.
Here are a few photos from swimming at the amazing Provo Rec Center! More coming soon... Bend camp wrapped up with a long 2.5 hour ski on Friday. It was a great day to work on our mental toughness. After 3 jam packed days of skiing everyone was feeling a bit fatigued and the 34 degree rain/snow mix added an extra challenge! But EVERYONE did a great job of persevering and some even loved it! Spencer thought it was the best day of the week. It is now the Devo Team's turn for ski camp! The Devo Camp runs Monday - Friday 8am - 4pm. Activities include: running, hiking, scavenger hunts, games, rollerskiing, swimming, ropes course, boulder wall, trampoline and more.
The fun has begun so stay tuned for lots of fun photos and stories! What happens at ski camp? Check it out:

Stay tuned for updates, photos, a Bend continued to impress with some fantastic skate skiing this morning! Since we only have 4 on snow sessions - 2 skate and 2 classic, we are really focusing on technique, and learning to go fast on our skis. This afternoon we hit the pool(s) for some fun in the sun followed by an afternoon classic rollerski. Switching between snow skiing and rollerskiing helps transfer those on snow feelings to summer training.
